La Salette
2014 CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL
OF LIGHTS
The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette,
located at 947 Park St., on Route 118 in Attleboro, MA, announces the 2014
Christmas Festival of Lights beginning Thanksgiving evening November 27, 2014
to January 4, 2015 with daily illuminations from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
depicting the new Theme, “Jesus Light of
Life” (John 8:12). Jesus brings not only new life but enlightens our life
with His incarnation. Discover the joy and peace that Christ brings to us
during this time of pilgrimage to the Shrine and by participating in the
liturgies and sacraments that are offered here make this a time of renewal and
hope. Mass will be celebrated at the Shrine Church daily at 12:10 and 5:30 PM
during the week and on weekends 12.10, 4:00 and 5:30PM. Confessions will be
held from 1PM to 6PM every day at the Reconciliation Chapel located inside the
Shrine Church. The illuminations begin
with a prayer at 5PM at the Outdoor Chapel every day during the season.
Admission
and parking are free to the public! Donations are always welcome!
Father Pat’s concerts are held Tuesdays thru
Sundays, in the Shrine Church (for complete schedule see below). Other visiting
guest artist’s concerts are held in the Welcome Center Concert Hall on weekends.
Concerts are free but a free will offering may be taken. For more information

We are opening the biggest ever La Salette
International Crèche Museum with over 2200 displays of nativity scenes from
over 100 countries, thanks to a generous donor to the Shrine! We had to add
another room for these special International Crèches. Other highlights include:
the Annual Christmas Craft Fair with new Craft Vendor’s in the Welcome Center Hall
(Fri - Sun., Nov. 28, 29 & 30); Religious Articles Store and Snack Bar are
open everyday until 9pm. You may get your religious articles blessed at the
welcome center. Cafeteria will have a
variety of food and will be called Food Court at La Salette. Trolley & Hayride Tractor-Pull Tours on
weekends; Children’s’ Carousel and the Family/Children’s’ Room featuring
Birthday Cards for Jesus are open and available during this time. To Children’s
delight, live donkey “Clopper” will be returning this year to keep watch over
the manger at the outdoor life-size nativity. La Salette Shrine recommends that
all groups (e.g., bus groups or Carpools, organizations, etc.) register early so
that we can better serve you. Log onto
