2014 CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, located at 947 Park St., on Route 118 in Attleboro, MA, announces the 2014 Christmas Festival of Lights beginning Thanksgiving evening November 27, 2014 to January 4, 2015 with daily illuminations from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. depicting the new Theme, “Jesus Light of Life” (John 8:12). Jesus brings not only new life but enlightens our life with His incarnation. Discover the joy and peace that Christ brings to us during this time of pilgrimage to the Shrine and by participating in the liturgies and sacraments that are offered here make this a time of renewal and hope. Mass will be celebrated at the Shrine Church daily at 12:10 and 5:30 PM during the week and on weekends 12.10, 4:00 and 5:30PM. Confessions will be held from 1PM to 6PM every day at the Reconciliation Chapel located inside the Shrine Church.  The illuminations begin with a prayer at 5PM at the Outdoor Chapel every day during the season.

Admission and parking are free to the public! Donations are always welcome!
Father Pat’s concerts are held Tuesdays thru Sundays, in the Shrine Church (for complete schedule see below). Other visiting guest artist’s concerts are held in the Welcome Center Concert Hall on weekends. Concerts are free but a free will offering may be taken. For more information call (508) 222-5410.

We are opening the biggest ever La Salette International Crèche Museum with over 2200 displays of nativity scenes from over 100 countries, thanks to a generous donor to the Shrine! We had to add another room for these special International Crèches. Other highlights include: the Annual Christmas Craft Fair with new Craft Vendor’s in the Welcome Center Hall (Fri - Sun., Nov. 28, 29 & 30); Religious Articles Store and Snack Bar are open everyday until 9pm. You may get your religious articles blessed at the welcome center.  Cafeteria will have a variety of food and will be called Food Court at La Salette.  Trolley & Hayride Tractor-Pull Tours on weekends; Children’s’ Carousel and the Family/Children’s’ Room featuring Birthday Cards for Jesus are open and available during this time. To Children’s delight, live donkey “Clopper” will be returning this year to keep watch over the manger at the outdoor life-size nativity. La Salette Shrine recommends that all groups (e.g., bus groups or Carpools, organizations, etc.) register early so that we can better serve you.  Log onto our website www.lasalette-shrine.org and then to bus group’s link on the home page to find out more: or call (508) 222-5410 to register now!
