National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette
Founded by Rev. Fr. René Sauvé, M.S on December 7, 1953
MISSION STATEMENT
We, the Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette, of the Province of Mary,
Mother of the Americas, are an Apostolic, religious community.
We witness to the Kingdom of God as we seek to mend relationships in need of healing.
Inspired by the event of La Salette and supported by our community life, we are
strengthened by the Eucharist, prayer and faith sharing.
We unite our gifts and talents with those of the laity.
Looking to Mary as our model, we discern new opportunities
to make known Her message of hope and reconciliation.

Welcome to The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette! We are a Marian shrine totally dedicated to the ministry of Reconciliation. Our beloved brother priest Rev. Fr. René Sauvé, M.S., founded our Shrine on December 7, 1953.  It was only then that the La Salette Missionaries began their missionary work in Attleboro, Massachusetts, since then we have grown so much thanks to all the visitors, pilgrims, and volunteers who have helped us continue our La Salette mission “Making Our Lady’s Message Known To All Her People”.  We are open year-round, from January 1 through December 31.  Our Shrine Director is Reverend Brother Robert Russell, M.S., Reverend Fr. Tom Puthusseril, M.S., Assistant Director, La Salette Retreat & Conference Center – Directed by Rev. Fr. Cyriac Mattathilanickal, M.S. & Rev. Fr. Tom Puthusseril, M.S., Assistant Director.  Rev. Fr. Dennis J. Loomis, M.S., Vocation Director.
