    12:10 pm Mass, 1:004:00 pm Confessions

Special Meditation:
Feast of the Exaltation of the Venerable and Life-giving Cross of an ancient liturgical tradition Catholic Eastern:

Exalt the Lord our God
and worship at the footstool of his feet
                                          because He is Holy.

Save us, O Son of God,
You who were crucified in the flesh,
to us who sing to Thee: Alleluia!

Save, O Lord, thy people
and bless thine inheritance.
Grant to your Church the victory over evil
and guard your flock by your Cross.

Thou, O Christ God, who voluntarily wast lifted on the Cross,
have compassion on the people who bring your name.
Rejoice, by thy power, thy holy Church
and grant him victory over evil.
What is your guild for us
a weapon of peace and a trophy of victory!

Before thy Cross † (sign of the cross), O Master, prostrate ourselves
and glorify your holy Resurrection. (3 times)

Glory † ...

And glorify your holy Resurrection.

Before thy Cross †, O Master, prostrate ourselves
and glorify your holy Resurrection.

Exalt the Lord our God
and worship at the footstool of his feet because he is Holy.

The Lord reigns, the people rejoice;
his throne is upon the Cherubim, staggers the earth. (Ps 99, 5)

Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

Remember thy people which thou hast chosen so long ago;
you recovered the scepter of thy inheritance.
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

God, who is our King before the ages,
wrought salvation in the midst of the earth.
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

O Mother of God, thou art the mystic paradise
for without being cultivated, you produced Christ
who planted the tree of the Cross.
So now we worship Him crucified
and exalt thee.

Recorded is upon us, Lord,
the light of thy countenance.
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

O Christ God, Who wast voluntarily suspended the Cross,
have compassion on the people who bring your name.
Rejoice, by thy power, thy holy Church
giving him the victory over evil.
What is your guild for us
a weapon of peace and a trophy of victory.

Fulfilled, was the word of the Lord thy prophet Moses:
"You will see your life suspended in your sight."
Today, the Cross is exalted and the world is freed from error.
Today, it renews the resurrection of Christ;
rejoice all the earth,
and, with hymns and psalms, as David once exclaim:
Realizing today, the salvation of the world,
through the Cross and Resurrection,
whereby You freed us, O Lord our God! '
O Thou who lovest mankind, Lord, glory to Thee!
